Her career journey started way back at 5years of age when her mother who become her biggest supporter caught her off guard practicing reporting with a hairbrush and a mirror. Sharon exited WMDT and joined WHIO as the weekend anchor in Dayton, Ohio. There she worked for about 3 years from 1997 to 2000. Then she moved to WFTC as an anchor in Minneapolis, before returning to Florida’s east coast to cover the Miami-Fort Lauderdale business.
