After her graduation, Natalia was offered an internship at STW. She began her career in television in Perth in 2003. Since then, she has worked for five years on Nine News Perth as the station’s weather presenter and temporary newscaster. Her great achievement was at the ages of 19 and 20, when she delivered her first weather and news bulletins, respectively.

2009, Cooper took a break of six months traveling the globe. Later, she resumed work as a freelance journalist before relocating to London in 2009. Jeff Newman’s retirement created a chance for her to take over the role of Seven News weather presenter in Perth.
