Previously Maddie worked as a Freelance contributor at La Weekly, where she specialized in reporting cultural, lifestyle, and arts news.

Maddie exited Comexposium in September 2017 and joined The E..W. Scripps Company in June 2018, as a Multimedia Journalist, Weekend Anchor, and Sunday PM Producer. She served for 2 years and a half anchoring 4 days weekly. In December 2020 Maddie got an opportunity to join Fox 5 at Los Vegas Metropolitan Area as Multimedia Journalist. After serving for one month, White was upgraded to become both a weekend anchor and a multimedia Journalist.
