While she was still pursuing her master’s at Colombia University, she also worked at NY1 and was a freelance writer for Forbes.com. Later she left NY1 and become Forbes full-time writer.

She worked alongside Nicole Petallides, the duo who were the original anchors of Fox Business Morning on Fox Business Network when the channel made its debut on October 15, 2007.
