Thérèse Coffey Early Career
She worked with Mars, Inc. in a variety of capacities following her college graduation, including as finance director for Mars Drinks UK., and after that worked for the BBC in the Property section as a finance manager. Coffey ran as a Conservative Party candidate for president in 2005. but received 6,079 votes, or 20% of the vote, to place third. She ran for election to the European Parliament on behalf of South East England in the June 2004 elections.
