2005-2010:

From 2005 until 2007, Kelli portrayed Diana Henry in the television show All My Children. She and All My Children parted ways amicably, and Soap Opera Weekly magazine announced in July 2007 that she will make her final appearance as Di on September 19, 2007. Giddish played Courtney in the online series The Burg and made an appearance in the suspense film Death in Love (2008), which had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. She performed the part of Cindy in All’s Faire, which was created by the same team who made The Burg.

The cast for Fox’s reincarnation drama pilot Past Life includes Kelli, Ravi Patel, and Nicholas Bishop. The focus of the WBTV production was on past-life researchers. It was then announced on June 27, 2011, that she would join the cast of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for its 13th season together with Cold Case’s Danny Pino coinciding with Christopher Meloni’s exit from the series. She told TV Guide during summer filming, ”Everybody on the set is really excited and energized. They’ve lost a family member with Chris Meloni leaving, but they’ve been very accepting of us. Amanda is thrilled to be here working with these people, and so am I.”

Kelli made her breakout as Detective Amanda Rollins in the 13th-season premiere, ”Scorched Earth”, in which the character first works together with Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay). She then expressed confidence that viewers would warm up to Rollins and another new character, Nick Amaro (Pino), with time.
