After graduating from college, he worked as a “middle man” and apprentice animator at Walt Disney Studios on movies including Pete’s Dragon and The Small One. He later advanced to full-fledged animator status while working with Glen Keane on The Fox and the Hound. He worked with and got to know people like Andy Gaskill, Brad Bird, Bill Kroyer, Dan Haskett, Ed Gombert, John Musker, Jorgen Klubien, Rick Heinrichs, Sue, and Tim Burton during his tenure at Disney.
