Guillermo Arduino began working in the television and radio industries at the young age of 25. Later, he hosted a night news program in Argentina on CVN-America TV. In 1995, he anchored news for a breakfast show on NBC’s International Language TV News Station, Canal de Noticias. He interviewed world leaders and covered the US presidential elections on this station. In 1997, he worked as an on-air meteorologist and show presenter for The Weather Channel. This made him a member of CNN’s weather team as an international weather anchor. In addition, in 2002, he became an anchor for CNN World View [1] and served as an anchor during the Iraq War and the War in Afghanistan.  He continued to host Clix, a weekly tech show on CNN en Español and CNN Latino, from 2008. Guillermo left the CNN International weather team and resumed his new role as CNN anchor and correspondent; this was in 2011. Arduino has continued to become the host and anchor of the weekend news show Mirador Mundial. He was nominated for the 2014 Daytime Emmy Award; this was in 2016.

The previous year, 2015, the University of Palermo in Buenos Aires named him an Embajador de la Creatividad. Furthermore, he hosted Global Challenges at  CNN International. This is the statement that Arduino stated on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, during the beginning of the CNN en Español program Encuentro. “Two days ago, it was the nineteenth anniversary of the death of my mother, a sudden cancer that she endured with unwavering stoicism; she said that when I died, I wouldn’t know what would become of my father, and he left only months later.”
He resigned after 22 years from the American CNN en Español in the year 2021.
